This Privacy Policy explains how Rockerbox, Inc (“Rockerbox”, “we”, and “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information we obtain through, and any other websites that link to this Privacy Policy (each a, “Website”), our digital advertising attribution platform, and any other applications or services operated by Rockerbox that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively with each Website, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into Rockerbox's Terms of Use  (the “Terms”). By using the Services you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.


Information We Collect When You Visit Our Website or Platform
We collect any information that you provide us when you visit our Website. On our Website you may provide us with your contact information, including your name, email and phone number, to learn more about our offerings. We may also collect information through your communications with our sales and customer-support teams. We automatically collect certain technical information from your computer or mobile device when you visit our Website. We may collect information using cookies or similar technologies. Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your browser on the hard drive or memory of your computer or other Internet access device. These tools allow us to passively collect information about your computer and/or device, including your IP address, web browser type, mobile operating system version (to the extent applicable), and unique identifiers (including IP address and mobile device identifier). We may also collect and store your browser settings and preferences.  When our customers visit our platform, we collect IP address, an identifier indicating which advertising campaign is running, and information about your interactions with the platform.

Information We Collect When You Interact with Our Customers’ Ads, Websites, or Mobile Applications
We automatically collect certain technical information from your computer or mobile device when you use or interact with our customers’ ads, websites, and mobile applications, such as your IP address, webs browser type, operating system version, and mobile advertiser ID (to the extent applicable), unique identifiers ((ncluding IP address and mobile device identifier)), browser settings and preferences, and screen size We use cookies and similar technologies in collecting this information. We also use statistical IDs, which we create via an algorithm using information about your computer or device, including your selected language, screen resolution, plugins, timezone, user-agent string, installed fonts, and similar information. This information makes your computers or devices distinct enough for our systems to determine within a reasonable probability that they are encountering the same user on a different computer or device. These tools allow us to uniquely identify the ads you view, click on, and your interactions with those ads, as well as information about your subsequent visits to our customers’ websites or applications. We collect this information in order to provide our customers with insights on the effectiveness of their digital advertising campaigns. We may combine the information collected from you from different browsers and devices you use in order to provide our services to our customers.

Information Our Customers Provide About You
Our customers may provide us with information they maintain about their customer base, such as demographic or other segmentation information, for use in analyzing the effectiveness of their ad campaigns.

We use website and application analytics services provided by third parties that use cookies and other similar technologies to collect information about Website use and to report trends, without identifying individual visitors. The third parties that provide us with these services may also collect information about your use of third-party websites. You can learn about Google’s practices in connection with this information collection and how to opt out of it by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at

We may also allow ad network providers to set and access their own cookies, pixel tags and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Website. These network advertisers may use this and other information they have collected about you to deliver targeted advertisements for products and services in which you might be interested. If you prefer to not receive targeted advertising, you can opt-out of some network advertising programs that use your information. Please note that even if you choose to remove your information (opt-out), you will still see advertisements. Additionally, many network advertising programs allow you to view and manage the interest categories they have compiled from your online browsing activities. These interest categories help determine the types of targeted advertisements you may receive. The DAA Opt-Out Page provides a tool that identifies its member companies that have cookies on your browser and provides links to those companies.

Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising in Mobile Applications

To opt out of our interest-based advertising that takes place through mobile applications, please see the following instructions on utilizing your mobile device operating system’s opt-out settings.

  1.      Go to “Settings” > “Privacy” > “Advertising.”
  2.      Turn on “Limit Ad Tracking.”

        For Android users: For instructions on how to opt out of interest-based ads in the Android OS, please visit this link or see the instructions below:

  1.      Open Google settings on your device (may be an app called Google Settings or an entry in your phone’s Settings menu, depending on your device)
  2.      Tap “Ads”
  3.      Switch on “Opt out of interest-based ads” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”


Opting Out of Cross-Device Targeting

We and our publisher clients, ad partners and third parties may combine and use information from websites or applications on your current browser or device with information from your other browsers or devices for advertising purposes. To opt out of such practices, please follow the instructions above for opting out on each of your browsers and on each of your mobile devices, including: “Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising from Cookies” and “Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising in Mobile Applications.”

Please note that you will need to opt out separately on (1) each of your browsers and (2) each of your mobile devices to ensure that information collected on a particular browser or device is not used on another browser or device.

Opting Out of Use of Precise Location

To disable the collection of precise location information from your mobile device through mobile applications, you can access your mobile device settings and choose to limit that collection.

Android: For Android 6.0 and above: you can modify privacy settings in Settings > Applications > App Permissions > Location and tap the on/off toggle switch next to Location for each app which has permission to use your location data. For earlier versions of Android: you can modify privacy settings in Settings > More > Permission and tap the on/off toggle switch next to Location to turn location functions off for your device. Alternatively, you may uninstall the relevant program(s).

iOS:   In iOS you can modify privacy settings in Settings > Privacy. You can select location data from this list to see which apps have asked for permission to use your location data.


Service-Related Usage
We use the information we collect for a number of purposes, including: providing, supporting, and improving the Services, and developing new products and services. We may also use the information to understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of consumers.  We use the information we collect when you view or interact with our customers’ ads, websites, and mobile applications to measure the effectiveness of our customers’ ads and share those insights with our customers. We may combine the information collected from you from different browsers and devices you use in order to provide these services to our customers.

Communications to Our Customers and Website Visitors
We use your information to communicate with you. For example, we may send email messages to the email address you provide to us to for informational and operational purposes, such as account management and customer service.

Marketing to Our Customers and Website Visitors
We may use your information for marketing purposes, such as providing you with promotional materials that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest. Where required under applicable law, we will obtain your prior opt-in consent to send you electronic marketing communications. You can opt-out of receiving further promotional messages from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the promotional email you receive.

Compliance with Applicable Law and Our Own Obligations
We may also process the information we collect about you or from you for the following purposes: (i) to enforce our Terms or other legal rights, including intellectual property infringement; (ii) as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency; and (iii) comply with industry standards and our policies.

Aggregate Data
We may de-identify your information and process it in an anonymous and aggregated form for other purposes than described above.


Our Customers
The information we collect from your device, including your interactions with our customers’ ads, websites, and mobile applications, is shared with the relevant customer. Our customers may use this information to analyze and create more effective advertising campaigns.

Service Providers
We work with third party service providers who provide website development, hosting, maintenance, and support as well as other business services for us. To the extent it is necessary for these service providers to provide the Services, these third parties may have access to or process your information.

As Required by Law and Similar Disclosures
We may disclose information about you: (i) if we are required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (ii) in response to requests by government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities; (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect against or respond to physical, financial or other harm, injury, or loss to property; or (iv) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual unlawful activity.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers
We reserve the right to transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.

We may also disclose your information with your permission. In addition, we may share anonymous and aggregated reports and information on user demographics and traffic patterns with third parties.


Rockerbox Opt Out Cookie
If you would prefer that we do not collect your information for purposes of providing our advertising analytics services, you may click here to opt out now. Please keep in mind that you need to separately opt out for each device and/or browser you elect to use. You will need to accept an opt out cookie in order to exercise your choice; if you delete your cookies, you will need to opt out again.

Browser Settings
If you do not want us to collect information through the use of cookies, your browser may allow you to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies and restrict or block certain cookies. Each browser is different, so you should check your browser’s “Help” menu to learn how to change your cookie preferences. Please be aware that if you block or reject cookies, some online services may not work properly. In addition, if you elect to use a new or different browser, you will need to apply the appropriate opt out to that browser. As with the Rockerbox Opt Out Cookie, blocking cookies will opt you out of having us collect your information for purposes of providing our advertising analytics services.

Do Not Track SignalsAt this time, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” headers and similar mechanisms.



We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you provide or we collect against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. Moreover, we are not responsible for the security of information you transmit to the Services over networks that we do not control, including the Internet and wireless networks.


We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under the age of 13. If Rockerbox becomes aware that any person submitting information to the Services is under the age of 13, we will promptly take steps to delete any personal information. If you become aware that your child or any child under your care has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at the contact information listed below.


If you are visiting from regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that we may transfer your information to recipients in countries other than the country in which the information was originally collected, including the United States of America. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. When we transfer your information to other countries, we will protect that information as described in this Privacy Policy. By providing your information and/or using the Services you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our information practices or relevant laws. To inform you of any change, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Websites and indicate at the top of the Privacy Policy when it was updated.
