Webhooks are the preferred method to get data about customer actions that do not occur on your website into the Rockerbox platform. For example, if a recurring subscription purchase happens or a lead is qualified in your CRM, webhooks are the best way to send that information to Rockerbox.
First, click the Edit icon with a pencil logo for any webhook to see the actual data being received from that webhook.
You’ll arrive on the page below. It’s important to note — do not edit the config, on the left-side of the page. This will cause errors in receiving data. If you have any questions, contact your Rockerbox account manager.
The Webhook URL is what points to the server for you to start pushing data. Your developer should have this URL in order to send data to Rockerbox.
On the right side of the page, you’ll find the total aggregate counts of webhooks sent. Each bar in the bar graph represents an hour for that respective date (in the UTC time zone) — hover over a bar to see the count for that hour. In the top left corner, you’ll find a date picker where you can select which date you’d like to see reflected in the data.
Below that, you’ll find the webhook messages received for the selected date and hour. Click the use button to see what is being sent to the webhook.
Now, you can click the Test button which validates the webhook and tells you if it's formatted correctly for Rockerbox.
This view shows you the webhook data and if it came to Rockerbox correctly.
If it was not formatted correctly, you’ll get an error like below.
Lastly, use the Test All in the bottom right corner to see if your webhooks are working.
In the left most column, you’ll find the green check for success or a red X for an error.
